GB Specialist Access Solutions was appointed to restore the external cladding and window frames of a prominent, operational fire station in South London. The primary objective was to rejuvenate the façade while preserving the building’s function and appearance, delivering a durable and visually improved exterior finish.

Scope of Work
Our team was tasked with rejuvenating the building’s exterior cladding and restoring the window frames to their original condition. Using specialist cladding restorers, we meticulously cleaned, repaired, and treated the surfaces to achieve a durable and visually striking finish. The window frames were carefully refurbished to complement the renewed façade, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional integrity of the structure.
Access and Safety
Given the height and complexity of the structure, our technicians operated on-site using Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). This allowed safe and efficient access to all areas of the façade and window frames while minimizing disruption to the fire station’s daily operations.
